Tasting Notes:
- The nose is equal parts earthy, herbaceous, and floral. Sweet salinity dances around with notes of eucalyptus, mint, finely ground white pepper and soft flower petals.
- The palate is just as herbaceous, but with a delicious undercurrent of cacao, worn leather and toasted pecans. That classic agave profile carries throughout the finish with lingering notes of petrichor and crisp cucumber skins.
About: "EL LLANO" is one of the oldest distillery's in the region that still produces tequila. It is located in the heart of the magical town Tequila. It is operated by the Orendain Brothers, descendents of one of the most recognized families in the tequila Industry.
The current masters distillers of Arette tequila represent the fifth generation producing tequila. Made from 100% estate-grown lowlands Agave, Arette has always prioritize quality over quantity, preserving the original artisanal practices. After 15 hours of roasting, agave are shredded and fermented with a special house yeast in the distilleries original cement vat for 6-7 days, and finally pot distilled and double-filtered before bottling.
