Caballito Cerrero Chato Reposado 46 is made from maguey Chato (agave Angustifolia), a variety related to Espadín.
Aged for 9 months, it has a light straw color and a slightly oily appearance in the glass. Its aroma is rich with strong agave notes, plus touches of butter and pepper.
On the palate, it’s full-bodied with a mix of agave flavor and gentle buttery sweetness. Compared to tequila made from blue agave, it offers a more interesting profile, with subtle nutty and citrus hints.
The finish brings pepper, warm dark sweetness, and lasts a medium-long time—smooth yet bold overall.
